The Frederick Douglass Pan African collections at Slippery Rock University Library will provide information for Pan African studies, here defined as the study of people of African descent in the world, including the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America, Africa and the adjacent islands of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. Pan African collections are distributed throughout the Library system and contain materials in all subject areas.
