The policy is that students, both undergraduate
and graduate, may operate University-owned vehicles only while in
pursuit of University business. They must be receiving salary
remuneration (with taxes withheld), and must be covered for workers
compensation liability in the State Workmen's Insurance
Fund.
In addition, they must adhere to the rules and
regulations governing the University-owned fleet, which calls for a
current, valid Pennsylvania driver's license with no suspensions
and of the proper class for the vehicle, which they are to
operate.
