ERIE, Pa. – Slippery Rock University’s men’s water polo team breezed to a 15-5 win over Mercyhurst on Tuesday in action at Gannon University.

The win was The Rock’s 10th in 14 games this fall.

The Rock scoring load was evenly distributed as five players – sophomore Arseni Grokhovski (San Antonio, TX/Clark HS), sophomore Andy Morrison (Homewood, IL/Homewood Flossmoor HS), senior Noah Randall (Milford, OH/Milford HS), sophomore Glenn Reepmeyer (Ballwin, MO/Parkway West HS) and freshman Lee Sharbaugh – had two goals each.

Senior Josh Buckley (Wyomissing/Wilson HS), sophomore Aaron Chapple (Reading/Reading HS), Chris Hokanson, Matt Holt and senior Derek Meyerson (Hatfield/North Penn HS) added one goal each.

The Rock returns to action on Oct. 4 when it will travel to Washington & Jefferson College to take on W&J and Penn State-Behrend.
